The institution awards academic credit for course work taken on a noncredit basis only when there is documentation that the noncredit course work is equivalent to a designated credit experience. Responsible Unit: Division of Academic Affairs Compliance Judgment Compliance Narrative
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University does not offer degree credit for nonacademic course work of any kind, whether developmental or remedial or taken for professional development training and certification. The university also does not grant degree credit for prior experiential learning. The university policy to not grant credit for noncredit activities extends to both undergraduate and graduate programming. [1][2]
